About the Coast.

The name Sunshine Coast isn’t some elaborate ruse to get you here. This part of BC actually receives less annual rainfall and more hours of sunlight compared to many other regions in the province. And if that’s not enough to lure you, we should mention that the Sunshine Coast is home to some of BC’s most pristine beaches and freshwater lakes, many of them bordered by lush wilderness that makes for perfect afternoon hikes or deeper treks to secret waterfalls. If it’s culture you’re looking for, take a stroll along our quaint city streets and visit numerous artisan shops, then stop at a colourful cafe, where fresh organic produce is always on the menu. Living doesn’t get much better than right here, with unique pockets of communities that are nestled in picturesque coves and inlets. And though we don’t have a big city population, we can’t imagine anywhere else in BC where you’ll find bigger heart.
